Tigers v Giants again

Discussion in the Tiger Tails forum
Tigers v Giants again
This practice game (16th March) turned out favourably for the Tigers 8-5. Mench shone driving in five runs on three hits. Kanemura though did not shine and in four innings of work gave up 3 runs on seven hits. He has more practice ahead of him. Imaoka, Okazaki (who is rapidly becoming the preferred no.2 catcher) and Sekimoto drove in a run each. Fukuhara reached 145 kph with his fastball but gave up two runs. Still very encouraging by the Tigers.
About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
