Tigers v Hawks - Mistakes cost the Tigers

Tigers v Hawks - Mistakes cost the Tigers
Kanemura started for the Tigers (25th March) and rather suggested that he hadn't improved. Against an ordinary side he bled runs. This was coupled with errors by Tigers players (including Kanemura) which kept the Hawks in the game. Interestingly the game saw the season's first appearance for Kanemoto and Arai (both anonymous).

Loe was Hawks starter and was indifferent. He started the first by dead balling Toritani who was then driven home by a Lin two run home run. Hawks pulled one back in their first due to a Tigers throwing error allowing the runner to third. The second was quiet and Tigers added a run in the third but then Kanemura just dripped runs until the fifth by which time Hawks had turned a 3-1 deficit into a 4-3 lead, the last coming from a wild pitch by Kanemura with a runner on third. Williams allowed another run in the sixth which ended the scoring 5-3. Kanemoto made his appearance in the seventh but grounded out. Mayumi needs to bang some heads together among the fielders as their errors have been significant in both the games so far and Kanemura needs to start the season in the second team.
