Tigers First Stage Camp evaluations for 2010

Tigers First Stage Camp evaluations for 2010
Tigers wrapped up their Okinawa camp and now move to the mainland for the second stage. Here are the evaluations for the attendees. These do not give a reliable indication as to how a player's season will go. For example, last season Mench rated 5 but didn't perform at all. Camp MVP was the catcher Komiyama. However, he has stiff competition if he wants to make the top team. Tigers team leader for 2010 will be Toritani who has made great strides.

About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
