Tigers in Hokkaido (Part 2)

Discussion in the Tiger Tails forum
Tigers in Hokkaido (Part 2)
This time the Tigers were able to translate their control into victory (4-1). Kubo started and was shakey in the first innings giving up a run. However, after that he settled down and pitched very well. Nippon Ham's batters then struggled to gain any momentum against some nice pitching from Tigers relief. Most of Tigers runs came in the fourth with Johjima driving in a run. Murton had a good game with a hit to left and a sacrifice fly. We also saw the appearance of Tagami from the development squad which is an encouraging sign.
About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
