First charity game - April 2nd

Discussion in the Tiger Tails forum
First charity game - April 2nd
Not a good game for the Tigers but an important game nevertheless. Outplayed and outhit by BayStars, Tigers could only manage 2 runs in a 9-2 defeat. One expects better from this lineup when the season starts. Johjima played the entire game and Kanemoto did too doing well and going 2-3. Kubo did not pitch well and coupled with Messenger's disaster in a second team game means that Tigers do have to look at their pitching a bit.
About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
