Fighting your way to a tie

Discussion in the Tiger Tails forum
Fighting your way to a tie
Tigers started Fujii as catcher again, this time with Nohmi. Runs were given up in the first two innings. A single in the first and two runs in the second. Once again Fujii was replaced in the sixth by Komiyama. He had demonstrated a singular lack of ability again. What was encouraging was Tigers fight back - Brazell driving in two runs and Shibata having a three base timely hit score 3-3. Komiyama kept things tight and made sure that Buffaloes didn't score anymore with the help of Fujikawa. Unfortunately, Tigers couldn't add more runs either. The problem is we are likely to see Fujii as starting catcher despite his demonstrated inability in the role.

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
