Kanemoto retires

Discussion in the Tiger Tails forum
Kanemoto retires
As mentioned in my post on the 11th September game Kanemoto has indeed announced his retirement from the game at the end of the season. In an emotional press conference he admitted that he the past three years had been difficult and that he could no longer continue playing at the top level. Whilst he did not go out at the top at least he was able to admit that he could no longer continue and choose the time of his departure.

He did not go out "on top".

Your grammar is awful.

'at the top' is just as valid a phrase as 'on top'

Read the original post again - then think before you commit your musings.

There are a lot of grammatical variations between British and American English. Let's keep the topic on baseball before this site turns into the drivel that gets published on Yahoo message boards.
About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
