Wada thinks
Our beloved manager has been reading management books it seems. He has been talking about the 3Cs (not one I'm familiar with) 'Change', 'Chance' and 'Challenge'. This is all very interesting but one maintains a rather sceptical attitude to this. It's all in English - which whilst it will be understood by some players will pass others by.

The source is the Daily Sports and as to what it means - your guess is as good as mine.

Wada's three Cs:
Change - the team is going through a change. Tomoaki Kanemoto and Kenji Jojima retired. Kyuji Fujikawa went to the Majors.
Chance - the team has signed some big free agents, but there are still plenty of chances since only one player had a guaranteed job (Takashi Toritani).
Challenge - do not just do what has been assigned, push yourself to new challenges.
All that will lead to a Champion
Its as easy as that!!!

Yes I saw this. Here's my take
Change - we know this - how about change as in the sense of the way the team plays or is managed? That is the change that matters the rest is just stating the obvious
Chance - let's get realistic, many of the other players are going to be passed over for the big name signings.
Challenge - It doesn't really tell us about the opposition and it doesn't relate to the coaching and management team and the bringing in of washed out hasbeens.
It's not the worst management speak (shodipush the white ants) but it's a long way from being the best.

I've read and heard enough to realize that our English friend must be a better manager than the current one. His innate and intimate knowledge of the game is simply overwhelming. I've been touting Christopher's credentials to my MLB contacts but no bites yet.
