2008 Tokyo Big 6 League Opening Weekend
One phrase, "That's messed up!"

Given, the only reason I'm following the Big 6 league is because of Yuu-chan. But I wasn't expecting this from Waseda on opening weekend:

4/12 Game 1 vs. Todai (aka Tokyo Daigaku) W 11-0
4/13 Game 2 vs. Todai W 28-0!!

Yuu-chan pitched in the 2nd game:

CG, faced 1 more than the minimum, 93 pitches, 4 hits, 5 K's, 0 BB's.

Perhaps Todai just isn't that good.

In other games:

4/12 - Keio def. Rikkyo 4-3
4/13 - Keio def. Rikkyo 4-1
4/14 - Keio vs. Rikkyo (No info)

Todai is horrible. Absolutely horrible.

I saw them play once last year - the only Monday game they had, because I think they only won one game all year to begin with. They scored one run and it was an inside-the-park error (I don't know how to describe it, besides that someone bunted, the catcher overthrew first, the ball went into the outfield, ended up in the corner, and by the time it was recovered, the dude had managed to score). So they just got trampled by Rikkio.

I'm actually not sure they've ever had a winning season. They definitely never won a championship. But at least their marching band is really really good.
