Katsunari Yoshikawa: 60 pitches in one inning
Orix Buffaloes pitcher Katsunari Yoshikawa tied a Pacific League record after throwing 60 pitches in 1 inning during the September 2, 2005 game against Rakuten. He becomes the second person in Pacific League history to throw that many pitches in one inning, after Kintetsu's Bob Milacki set the record back on June 27, 1997 against Seibu.

The NPB record is 64 pitches in one inning, set by Hanshin's Makoto Yoshino on April 7, 2004 against Yokohama.
