Coming in against the Hiroshima Carp on October 1 at Nagoya Dome with a 6-3 lead, Iwasa threw to five batters, giving up two hits and striking out one. Iwase is currently 1 and 2 with 46 saves and an ERA of 1.88 in 60 games.
