Tuffy Rhodes Reaches 1,000 RBI
Tuffy Rhodes became just the 28th player in NPB history to gather 1,000 RBIs, and he becomes the first foreign player to do so.

During the April 4th Orix Buffaloes game vs. the Chiba Lotte Marines at Kyocera Dome, Tuffy smacked a 2-run home run in the bottom of the 9th inning giving him 1,001 career RBIs. Tuffy reached the feat in game number 1,325, making him the third fastest player in NPB history to reach the milestone, behind Ochiai Hiromitsu and Fujimura Fumio.
