This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

The last pitcher to have gone to two outs in the nineth to have a no-hitter broken up was Seibu's Nishiguchi Fujiya on August 26, 2002. Yoshimi is the 20th player (21st time) to have had a no-hitter broken up with two down in the nineth.
Yoshimi got the complete game victory over Hiroshima, winning 4-0, after retiring the next batter on a fly ball to left, the 28th Carp batter of the game.
