40,000 Pacific League Home Runs
In the bottom of the 8th inning of the April 18th game of the Softbank Hawks vs. the Orix Buffaloes at Fukuoka Yahoo! Dome, Hawks player Tony Batista hit the 40,000th overall home run for the Pacific League since two league play began back in 1950. The following day Sankei Sports had a list of the home runs in increments of 5,000, which I have translated below:
