Tom Davey?
Does anyone have any info on Davey? Has he been brought up to the top league team yet?

Actually he started yesterday, I think, and allowed something like 9 runs in 3 innings.

Davey made his first start of the year last night for Hiroshima, against the Seibu Lions. He got roughed up pretty bad, but there was an error in there as well, so not all the runs were earned.

After a rough first outing, Davey seemed to be in control through five. Then in the sixth he gave up a 3 run homer to Brumbaugh of the Buffaloes. He looked as if he was tired. He trew only 98 pitches.
If he can stay healthy and build up his endurance it looks as if he will be a quality starter. Davey showed flashes of his old self. Remember, shoulder surgeries are difficult to come back from.

Tom Davey got his first win of the season Saturday, May 22 as the Carp beat the Eagles in Hiroshima. He gave up 3 runs over 6 innings, giving up 6 hits and throwing 4 four-balls, striking out 4 on the way.
Did anyone see him pitch? How did he look?
