Atsushi Fujimoto?
What happened to Atsushi Fujimoto? He is my favorite player, and now he is not playing.

According to the Disabled List (a fan site in Japanese), Fujimoto pulled his left hamstring in a game on April 27th against Chunichi. An MRI the following day confirmed the hamstring pull. He is expected to be out for four weeks from then, so he's still got about a week to go - assuming rehabilitation goes well.

SanSpo reported that Fujimoto was to take the field for the Hanshin farm team today (Wed., May 18).

But he doesn't appear in the Hanshin official site stats for that game.

Fujimoto came on to play for the main team tonight as a replacement for Sekimoto. His performance was patchy and he made a serious error in the ninth which should have been an easy out.

Hey! There ya' go! Fujimoto was back in the top team for tonight's inter-league game against the Seibu Lions. He was on the bench until Okada-kantoku sent Osamu Hamanaka to pinch hit for Kentaro Sekimoto in the fourth. Hamanaka drove in two with a single; Fujimoto replaced him as runner on first and then took Sekimoto's place in the field and batting line-up.

Fujimoto got one at-bat after than: a fly-ball to third.
