Riggan Ready to Go
After season ending "Tommy John" elbow surgery in 2004, Jerrod Riggan of the Hanshin Tigers is nearing completion of his rehab.

It would be crazy if nobody picked him up. 2003, 1.51 ERA, 2004, 2.71 ERA, 4 saves.

Number_65, is your nickname a reference to Riggan and the number assigned to him by Hanshin? I saw him pitch for the Mets many times, and was lucky enough to see his first NPB win, a 1-0 ten-inning walkoff [sayonara] against Yakult. Fantastic game!

Riggan made his 2005 debut with the GCL Mets. He pitched one no hit inning, giving up no runs, walking none, and striking out 3.
