Ex-Hanshin players in MLB

Ex-Hanshin players in MLB
Isn't it funny how many ex-Hanshin Tigers are currently playing in the major leagues? There's Mark Johnson and Tony Tarasco playing for the Mets, and there's Eduardo Perez playing for the Cardinals. All of those players are guys that Nomura gave up on. In my opinion, Nomura just didn't have enough patience with those guys.

Also, ex-Tiger Dave Hansen has been playing for the Dodgers since his 1998 release from Hanshin, although he was one of Yoshida's players.
About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
