WBC Round 2: USA vs Japan

WBC Round 2: USA vs Japan
I'm pulling for both of these teams and was torn while watching this, but that blown over-turned call in the 8th pushed me into full-on Go Japan! mode. What a great game. Seriously a classic match up. And a lousy ump had to go and decide it with a poor call.

Great game, bad call, but I was pulling for the US so no foul for me. =P

Japan got robbed, plain and simple.

Buck Martinez won the game for the Americans. He had a clear view of the 3rd base bag and he succeded in getting the call reversed by lying to the ump and then the media. In my book, that's bush. Team USA did win, but it was a cheap and tarnished win.

You can put an asterisk by this game. Just as you can with the steroid powered American Record books!
