Korea's Great Will

Korea's Great Will
Whew, talk about a rivalry. Here's an interesting article on a Japan vs. Korea baseball rivalry [MLB.com], though methinks it transcends baseball.

Anyone believe this series really shows who is best, or who happens to be best in a short series of games? To me it doesn't really matter. I enjoy the showcase of many countries players. Seems like more to the Koreans.

Oh, it definitely transcends just baseball, or sports for that matter. I won't get into the history here, but it's definitely heated no matter what.

Yeah, I am sure they enjoyed whipping Team USA far more than the sport, too. A few years back, the World Cup match vs. the USA drew a lot of "interest" there. Thankfully, there were no falls when Anton Apollo Ono skated in the past Olympic games.

Whatever.
