Torakichi where are you?

Discussion in the Open Talk forum
Torakichi where are you?
I'm sending an all points bulletin for Torakichi. We haven't seen his insights on baseball for over a week.
I miss his enthusiasm for international baseball.

Lurking About
[ Author: torakichi | Posted: Feb 25, 2003 11:22 AM | HT Fan ]

Hi there Kiyoshi. I've been lurking around the site, but really busy at work (doing one of the most boring translations in the history of the universe). I tell ya, if you ever need to know about the overseas investment situation in the Sri Lankan infotech industry, I'm your man.

Why do no clients want a translation about the Hanshin Tigers? I could give them all the latest facts and figures! Atsushi Kataoka is injured, and has returned to Tokyo to recover. George Arias might go to 3rd and Hiyama to 1st, meaning that both Hamanaka and Akahoshi could play in the outfield. Arias' wife is pregnant with their third child. What more could any discerning client want?!

Thanks. I feel much better.

Good to hear from you. Maybe I'll see you when I visit my relatives in the Kansai area next year.
About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
