Gaijin Impact Poll
Of all the new gaikokujin signed for the 2007 season, which one do you think should have the most impact on his team?

In my opinion it is going to be Aaron Giuel. He can hit for power to all fields, and in Jingu Stadium any fly ball to the out field is a home run. He might hit 25 to 35 home runs this year.

I'm going to make a bold prediction and say Kevin Witt will be a huge blessing to the Rakuten Eagles.

What we're first missing here is a list of the new foreign players. I've put together a short list which I know is incomplete.
BayStars
Pitcher Scott Chiasson

Carp
Pitcher Jared Fernandez

Giants
2nd B'man Luis Gonzalez
Outfielder Damon Hollins

Swallows
Pitcher Mickey Callaway
Pitcher Seth Greisinger

Buffaloes
Pitcher Lance Carter

Eagles
Pitcher Lin En-Yu
Pitcher Ryan Glynn
Infielder Kevin Witt (BayStars in 2004)

Fighters
Infielder Andy Green

Hawks
Pitcher C.J. (Christopher John) Nitkowski
Outfielder Brian Buchanan
Outfielder Adam Hydzu

Lions
Pitcher Jason Johnson
Maybe this can help to get the conversation started.

Ryan Glynn is on the Fighters now, not the Eagles, and he played in Japan last year.

I think I'm supposed to reply to this thread and say that Andy Green will have the biggest impact, but I honestly don't really know.

Ryan Glynn played for Rakuten on 2006. He is now with the Nippon Ham Fighters. He is not a new foreign player. Chad Allen is a new player for Orix and Brian Sweeney is a new player for Nippon Ham.

According to the Korean Yonhap News [in English], Callaway is not playing in Japan , but staying in Korea with Hyundai Unicorns. He is not listed on the 2007 Yakult Swallows roster.

Yakult has listed Seth Greisinger, Alex Ramirez, Jr., Dicky Gonzalez, Adam Riggs, Alex Ramirez, and Aaron Guiel.

Ryan Vogelsong is on Hanshin now.

Jared Fernandez is my pick to have the biggest impact, and to also be the most interesting to watch.
