This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

Morimoto did well to beat out a throw to first to register an infield single, tie the game, and get Darvih off the hook. To whiff 14 and get tagged with the loss would have been a great injustice.
Last Fighters home game I saw was when they still played at Tokyo Dome in April 2002. You could actually hear the players talking during that game, so it was great to see how the local community has embraced the team! Lots of families and kids, awesome!
Just one thing, not sure how many posters have been to Sapporo Dome for a sell-out game, but the access was terrible. We had reserved seats and still queued in the cold and snow for about 30 minutes to get in. The limited number of entry points is really frustrating. Was it just because it was opening day? Maybe a regular HNHF poster (maybe Deanna) can enlighten us as to whether this is the norm.
Not sure if it was on TV, but did anyone see the stunt with the limo bringing the team into the dome? Hilarious!
