I just read this. I've got to say that I lost what little respect I had for Buchanan. He needs to know his role. Too many suketto come to Japan with terrible attitudes.
I just watched a video on YouTube of Chad Allen getting a double off Satoru Kanemura and yelling profanities at him over and over.
I hope guys like these get used for target practice by the pitchers and sit out large chunks of the season. Bad reputations don't take long to circulate throughout the league.

Yeah, but you can't argue with Buchanan's performance. And don't you think you're too quick to reserve judgment?
Yes, Buchanan's attitude was out of line, but so is your criticism of him. One action alone doesn't define a player. Hoping pitchers hit them as target practice? A real good one.
I do agree with you 100% on Allen, that is pretty sad.

Real mature attitude. That's just as bad as Julio Zuleta who charged the mound while with Softbank.

Julio is a Marine now, so there is nothing he can do now that I will disagree with. As long as he keeps hitting homers, he can go dropkick Buchanan for all I care.

We also had a situation where Julio Zuleta was hit on the wrist at which time he was very angry. I went out to first base to see how he felt. And as I was coming off of the field, Buchanan-senshu, who has been very hot hitting homeruns and hit against us with every swing he takes, decided to yell and tell me to get off of the field. Later on, I went to their dugout and told him that he had no right to speak to me in any tone, considering that he has so little experience and I probably won more games at the Major League level than he had. I made it pretty clear that I didn’t appreciate his rude comments.
