Kenji Yano

Discussion in the Open Talk forum
Kenji Yano
The young Giants' backup outfielder Kenji Yano is making a run for the title of "Daida no Kami-sama" or "God of Pinch Hitting" after hitting the deciding pinch hit solo homer against the Fighters last night. I believe he hit a pinch hit homer against Lotte a few days ago, and he also hit a huge pinch hit grand slam shortly before that.

So what is the story on young Kenji? He had a lot of at bats last season to earn a spot as a regular, but didn't do too well. I've also read that he is very raw out in the field, too. Is this role as clutch pinch hitter something he'll thrive in?
