NPB Wrap-Ups?

NPB Wrap-Ups?
Since I can't catch NPB games on a regular basis, I was wondering if there was a service out there (aside from YouTube) that offers daily NPB wraps, kind of like Baseball Tonight or something akin to it.

The best is probably the NHK survey on Newswatch 9 (9pm to 10pm). It's shown after the weather with a short summary of the action from each game and the most interesting plays. Innings scores and other information for each game is also shown. You can listen to it in English if you have a BS TV, but the translations tend to be very poor. There is no pure highlights program that I am aware of.

Are you based in Japan or outside of Japan?

If you're in Japan then by far the best show I've seen on Japanese TV is "Pro Yakyu News" which can be seen every night from 11pm on Fuji TV 739 (and repeated at 6am the following morning). Fifty minutes of (almost) complete highlights of every game, and they show no real bias coverage-wise to either the CL or PL, or indeed any of the "bigger" teams within each league.

The only problem with the show is that it's on SkyPerfect TV which you need a satellite dish/receiver/contract (or cable TV) to view.

Any long-term resident of Japan with any interest in Pro Yakyu shouldn't be without SkyPerfecTV. With their Pro Yakyu package you can view every game of all the teams live, plus the daily highlights show.
About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
