Who's On First? Kei Igawa!

Who's On First? Kei Igawa!
I was reading the Japanese Wikipedia entry for Kei Igawa and it stated that he played one game at first base for Hanshin. Did anyone see this? If so, what was the situation that called for it?

It didn't sink in that you said you read the Japanese Wikipedia entry. I checked out the English one, and apparently, he was the first base coach for a game for Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on July 29.

Way to be a smart a**. Unlike the rest of the world, Japanese people don't abuse Wikipedia with every opportunity presented to them. The yakyu entries are especially detailed and maintained in a very professional manner.

I'm still waiting for a legitimate reply. My guess is that he was put at first on an off day in order to scout the opposing starter before being subbed out.
