Bryan Corey
A friend of mine has just signed to play for the Giants. I was wondering if anyone has seen him play yet? His name is Bryan Corey and will be closing games or in at middle relief. Thanks for any information.

Yes he played this past week. A white guy with blond hair.

It said in today's sports paper that Corey is scheduled to arrive in Japan on the 19th, which would be the day after tomorrow, so unless he took an earlier flight and hauled butt to the field, there's no way that he played this past week.

I think you're thinking of a different white guy with blond hair - Matt Randel, who wears #93 and pitches for the Giants also.

Thanks for the information. All I know is he asked and got his release from the Cubs on May 5th.

Bryan arrived on May 18th. I have seen him pitch a few times in the States, as he is my brother-in-law.

Actually, Bryan Corey arrived in Japan on May 19th, and it turns out that he's not a white guy with blond hair as someone said he was. He's a white guy with brown hair.

He seems like a humble, no-nonsense kind of guy from what I saw in his press conference interview. He said that he talked to a number of people about Japanese baseball, among others, former team mate Masao Kida, who also played for the Giants.

Hi,

Send me a picture and I'll put him on our site [kikutv.com]. Maybe I can do a right up. Send me your e-mail to "info at kiku d0t com" and I'll send you some questions.

Nice to meet you Lauren. I was his booster parent way back in A ball. We still keep in touch. If you know any sites I can go to let me know. I'm use to checking him out everyday. By the way guys, Bryan is a great person on and off the field.
