Koshien Renewal?

Discussion in the Open Talk forum
Koshien Renewal?
Does anyone have any details on what to expect from Koshien Stadium in 2008? I know it underwent a renewal in the off-season, but don't know what concrete plans were in store. Fortunately, the only price changes have been increasing the orange and yellow seats from 3,500 to 4,000 yen. This doesn't affect me, as these are horrible and cramped seats anyway and I'm a 3-rui Alps guy. They have also renamed these seats, so I wonder if they have improved them.

Anyone with any details please share.

The plans are quite extensive and Koshien will not be in use in 2008. This website has all the details (but is in Japanese).

What do you mean by "Koshien will not be in use in 2008"? The schedule for 2008 Tigers games at Koshien is already out. Do you mean the renewal will not be complete until 2009? Or were you referring to the high school tournament?

My mistake - yes I was talking about the renewal which will take place in stages.
