Kazumi Saitoh Sighting?

Kazumi Saitoh Sighting?
Does anybody have current information on pitcher Kazumi Saitoh's current activity? I had heard earlier this year he had shoulder surgery or something along those lines. It would be a shame if his career is cut short due to injury. Please, if anybody knows what he is doing now and what his likely ETA would be to getting back to pitching I would greatly appreciate knowing.

He is in Arizona right now. He had surgery on his right shoulder and is now undergoing rehabilitation. He might not be able to play this season, but he will be ready next year to pitch again. You can check out his website (in Japanese), he usually updates his diary every once in a while.
