Asian Pro All-Star and Championship

Discussion in the Open Talk forum
Asian Pro All-Star and Championship
Nippon Professional Baseball is having its foundations shaken with the merger, player's strike, recruiting violations, and increased assertiveness of the Players' Association and fans. Maybe NPB should look at the example of the new Japan Basketball League or BJ-League. BJL will start November 2005 and has already planned an All-Star game with the Korean Basketball League and has proposed a pro championship with China, Japan, and Korea.

How about the Chinese Professional Baseball League (Taiwan), Korean Baseball Organization, and NPB having a annual (not sporadic) all-star or championship series? I know many (including Westbay and myself) have proposed this idea before.
About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
