What's Wrong With Arai?
All you Tigers fans out there know that we've struggled with our clutch hitting this year. I don't like to pick on the guy, but obviously Arai is one of the biggest culprits. Despite being bounced around in the line-up, he simply can't get his average any higher and looks really frustrated. I would say I can't remember the last time he got a big hit, but at least he got one tonight!

So, what do fellow posters think his problem is this year? Lingering effects of the injury? Inability to handle the pressure of playing for the Tigers? Still getting used to the larger dimensions of Koshien Stadium? Or just having one of those years?


Again, I hate to see someone struggle and don't want to pin all our problems on him, but just curious why others out there think he is playing so poorly this year.
