This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

This is the first time that the 34-year-old Atchinson will see action in the Majors since 2007, when he pitched for the San Francisco Giants. He appeared in 22 games, posting a 4.11 ERA in his first MLB appearances since 2005 when he was released by Seattle after posting a dismal 6.75 ERA in 6 appearances that year.
