This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

Linked to below is game, play-by-play, and pitch-by-pitch data from the 2010 Nippon Professional Baseball season. It was acquired by scraping and copying information from Yahoo! Sports, as well as other sources, and is being released under a Creative Commons (BY-NC-SA) license. The data is contained in six files, all of which are comma separated values (csv) files:
A readme file with field explanations is also included.
Please note that the data is provided as is---there are errors and inconsistencies, as well as missing information.
