Cost of Going to the Seibu Dome or Chiba
How much does it cost to go from the Shinjuku or Tokyo stations to the Seibu Dome or Chiba Marine Stadium? A ballpark guess is fine. Thanks.

I went to Chiba to see the Marines last June. We took the Hibiya subway line and connected to the Keio Line. As I recall, the subway was 160 yen per person (one way) and the Keio line ticket to the Makuhari station was about 450 yen. So it's a total of about 600 yen one way per person.

Haven't been to Seibu in about 4 years, but from Tokyo station, you'd go to the Ikebukuro station and then connect to the Seibu line. As I recall, it was about the same price total as what it was to Chiba, maybe 100 yen more.

I went out to Chiba to see a Marines-Fighters game last spring. The thing is, I had a JR Rail Pass, so I just took the JR Keiyo line from the Tokyo station to Kaihin-Makuhari and it was free for me since it was a JR line. So if you have a rail pass, this is a great option. That line also goes past Tokyo Disneyland, if you want to go there. (I still haven't been to the Seibu Dome.)

I went to the Seibu Dome last April and the cost to get there depends how quickly you want to get there. From the Seibu Shinjuku station (under the Shinjuku Price Hotel), the limited express costs 710 yen and takes about 30 minutes to get to Tokorozawa station and another 5-10 minutes to Seibu Kyujo Mae. If you go by local train it's around 360 yen but it takes about 50-55 minutes.
