Wanted: Someone to Write on Osaka Baseball

Wanted: Someone to Write on Osaka Baseball
A correspondent of mine has asked me to post this request:

I am the editor of NWA WorldTraveler, Northwest Airline's inflight publication. For our next issue, we plan to profile an Osaka-born baseball player who's made it to the American majors. We are thinking of Kazuo Matsui of the New York Mets. We are also going to run a long sidebar on baseball in Osaka - how to see a baseball game in Osaka, the differences/similarities between Japanese and American games and fans, where to get tickets, etc.

Let me know if you'd be interested in covering Osaka baseball.

Thanks,

About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
