Japanese Fantasy Baseball

Discussion in the Ask the Commish forum
Japanese Fantasy Baseball
I would like to play in a Japanese Professional Fantasy League. I don't know the Japanese language, so it would have to be bilingual or just in English. Also, it has to be free to play. Prizes for winning are not important. Does anyone know of a site that meets my requirements? If not, maybe the Commish should start his own fantasy league at this site either this year or next.

The only Japanese Fantasy game that I know of in both English and Japanese is that by Fantasy Sports Japan (Japanese version). FSJ also happens to pay the electric bill for the server you're reading this from, so I may be a little narrow sighted.

NEC did have a similar demo game a few years ago, but in Japanese only. Perhaps some of you can get together and create a rotissarary-style game?

I am playing in this one. I have paid my dues (49.95) and picked a team and now am doing some fine-tuning.
I do not know of any that are free. I am not interested in prizes either but this was the only game that I was able to find. Indeed it is probably the only one in existence.

I can tell you that the people on this website are a tremendous resource for player information.
About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
