Scheduling?

Scheduling?
Hello,

When I checked the June schedule at Tokyo Dome's English home page it seemed like when teams met they play three days in a row. Why do they play three days in a row? Do they play one game each day, tree days in a row against the same team, to save travel expences?

Yes, basically, plus it would be extremely tiring for the players to have them travelling after every game on road trips. The current system is more efficient and lets fans see more than one starting pitcher each time a visiting team comes to town.
