Pedro Valdez
Under your acquisitions on your TRANSACTIONS page, I saw that it says that the Giants have acquired Pedro Valdez from the Daiei Hawks. Is that true?...Because I think I read somewhere that Valdez had agreed to another contract with the Hawks.

Hmm. You have a point. I've been unable to verify the Giants' signing of Pedro Valdez anywhere other than that page. (Although I did find several references to Chunichi signing Marc Valdes, released by Hanshin - now updated.) Does anyone know Pedro's status?

Pedro Valdez did indeed re-sign with the Daiei Hawks. The player that did move from the Hawks to the Giants is Rodney Pedraza. Their names are similar, so it may have thrown people off.
