Japanese Baseball Governing Body Contact Info?
Hello.

I need to contact the Office of the Commissioner or the equivalent for Japanese baseball for some business related questions. Any way you could forward me that information? Any direction you could steer me in would be appreciated!

The NPB Commissioner seems to go out of his way to not be contacted by the common public. The thought is, if you really need to contact him, you'll alread know how.

Nonetheless, I've posted the physical address of the Central League and Pacific League Commissioners here. I believe that the NPB Commissioner is in the same building, but I don't know what floor. Phone and fax information for the various commissioners has not been published for a number of years. If the Commissioner has an e-mail address, it isn't known.

The official NPB site has an opinion page (in Japanese) for people to write in what they think about NPB. But it's unlikely that any solicitations for business will get passed up the chain of command there.

I don't mean to put a damper on your hopes, but doing business in Japan often relies more on who you know that what you know. Contacting the Commissioner is a good example, as you will first have to make the proper contacts to get an introduction to the top man himself. I'm not saying it isn't possible, just that it'll be a lot more work than you're probably expecting. I hope you can hang in there.
