Koshien Travel/Hotel Help?

Koshien Travel/Hotel Help?
I'm planning on going to a Tigers' game at Koshien in June, flying down from Misawa. I was wondering if soneone could provide me with info on how to quickly get from Itami Airport to the train station next to the stadium, and also assist on naming some convenient hotels?

Thanks in advance.

From Itami, it's easy to get a "limousine bus" to Nishinomiya. They leave about twice an hour. There are Hankyu, Hanshin, AND JR Nishinomiya stations, but I imagine Hanshin is the closest. I can double check that. So, it's an easy 45-minute, 700 yen ride into Nishinomiya.

Sorry I don't have any hotel info.

Getting to Koshien from Itami is tricky. If I were you, I'd take a "limousine bus" to Osaka Station, stroll over to Umeda Station (Osaka and Umeda Stations are basically the same thing) on the Hanshin Railway and follow the hordes of people onto the continuous stream of trains heading for the stadium.

Since Koshien is only a 15-minute train ride from Osaka, you needn't limit yourself to hotels around Koshien. If you really want to help Hanshin, you could stay at the Hotel Hanshin at Fukushima Station (the official site, in English, says rooms are available from around \15,000).

Thanks for the advice so far.

What about the Osaka Limousine Bus ("Hanshin Electric Bus") that departs at 16:45 from North Terminal 2? It looks like it goes from the airport -> Hanshin Koshien -> Hankyu Nishinomiya -> Kitaguchi, costs 700 yen, and takes 25 minutes?

That would appear to be the one you want.
