I am alive and well living in Denver Colorado. I retired from baseball in 2000 after going to spring training with the Astros. The shoulder problems I encountered with the Yomiuri Giants in 1997 proved too much to overcome. I currently am working with Fox Sports Rocky Mountain and am doing baseball analysis for pre/post game shows for the Rockies.

I enjoyed my time in Japan greatly and miss my team mates. I hope to go back one day and visit.

Eric, I have fond memories of your days with that struggling early-1990s Mets team and recall you almost completing your first start and getting taken out in the last inning. The tallest Met ever!
