How much was third baseman Mark Schramek offered by the Orix BlueWave in 2002?

I don't think that they offered him anything. All I can find about Schramek and Orix in 2002 was that Schramek tried out and was not signed [2ch.net BBS - in Japanese]. (Other search results from the time period say the same thing.) They say he was ni-gun (farm) level, and that there was some sort of problem with back-room negotiations.
