Roberto Marcano?
I want to obtain full information about the first Venezuelan baseball player in Japan, Roberto Marcano. I cannot find any information about him. I have his Japanese baseball cards.

OK. I've entered his career data here. While in Japan, he went by the name "Bobby Marcano." Marcano won the RBI title in 1978, was selected to the Best Nine 4 times for a second baseman (1975, 1977-'79), and won four Golden Gloves at second (1975-'76, 1978-'79).

He predominantly played second base for both the Hankyu Braves and Yakult Swallows over his 11 years in Japan. He also played in the Nippon Series for the Hankyu Braves in 1975-'78, Hankyu's "Golden Age," batting .303 with 4 home runs and 19 RBIs over 25 Nippon Series matches.

Marcano also participated in 5 All Star Series, 15 games in all. There he batted .265 with no home runs and 2 RBIs, winning the MVP for the second game of the 1979 All Star series.

Baseball-Reference is a fair bio of Marcano.
