Playoff Rules for the Central League

Discussion in the Ask the Commish forum
Playoff Rules for the Central League
The Pacific League classifies three teams with the best records. The second place team plays a three games series against the third place team to determine the Stage One winner. Stage two is a five game series between the winner of the Stage One versus the first place team. In 2004-5 the first place team won the division with a 5 games advantage automatically would get a game to its favor. From the 2006 season, the first place team, no matter its advantage, gets a game bye (one win advantage to start).

My questions:
  1. Are there any home advantage (other than 3-2 or 2-1) for first place teams in Stage Two or Stage One?
  2. Are the rules the same for the Central League starting this system in 2007?
