Tigers/BayStars last Saturday

Discussion in the Ask the Commish forum
Tigers/BayStars last Saturday
I just returned to the U.S. from a great tour of NPB. In five games we saw a sayonara triple and three losing teams at least get the tying run to the plate in the 9th.

The one team that apparently failed to read the memo about our presence was the Tigers. They got a sayonara homer the night before we arrived. The game we saw, Saturday, they lost to the BayStars 7-4. The atmosphere at Koshien more than made up for it, however.

I kept score of the game, but our tour leader was a little concerned about the train schedules, so we had to leave shortly after the balloon launch. Could anyone fill me in on the play by play from the bottom of the seventh on, so I could fill in my book? I promised a few of my tour mates copies of my scorebook as souvenirs.

Also, does anyone know how it came to be that there are plaques of Babe Ruth (left field) and Lou Gehrig (right field) by the foul poles in Yokohama Stadium?

For the "Should Hara be fired?" discussion: Yes, if he told Nishi to steal in the 9th with the #3 hitter up trailing by two runs Wednesday.
