Foreign Born Players

Discussion in the Ask the Commish forum
Foreign Born Players
I was looking at some of the rosters and noticed that there were not that many foreign born players on the rosters, is there some sort of rule that only allows a team to have so many foreigners on their roster in the Japanese Leagues?

Did you try the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) first? If so, did you read "What are the rules governing foreign players on rosters?" in the FAQ? If so, what part in particular did you not understand?

If you answered "no" to any of the above, what do you think it will take to get people to look for information before posting questions?

If I remember correctly, Japanese baseball rosters are only allowed to have 2 or 3 foreign born players on each team. I may be mistaken, but that is what I remember.

How can one try out for a team in Japan? Please let me know. I had a friend that played ball in Japan. His name was Rod Bolton.
