Japanese Player Salaries
I am doing a college research paper on comparing Japanese sports (baseball) to the United States. Part of my paper is going to focus on player salaries, which I can not find any type of information. I was wondering what type of salaries (US$) are paid to Japanese players. How does that compare to the U.S.A.? What other type of financnial compensation do they receive? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
