Is O'Malley Still a Coach?

Is O'Malley Still a Coach?
O'Malley has been showing off his Kansai-ben in several local commercials for the Tigers. Is he still a coach? I think he was batting coach under Hoshino. Is he still on staff? If so, anybody know how to contact him?

No, to my best knowledge O'Malley is just a scout for the Tigers.

O'Malley retired from coaching Hanshin after the 2003 victory. He is now working as a scout for the Tigers in North America. He only occasionally helps out with batting coaching.
