Can Lotte Marines games be listened to on Tokyo radio?

Can Lotte Marines games be listened to on Tokyo radio?
Hi, I'm new on the forums and I'm a big Lotte Marines' fan (although I live in Tokyo). I was just wondering if I could listen to Marines' games on Japanese radio here in Tokyo (I understand Japanese). If this is possible, what radio channel should I tune into to hear the games?

Also, it would really help me if you could tell me what other Pacific League games can be listened to in Tokyo and how to do so.

Lastly, are there any Internet broadcast for Pro Yakyu games?

Thanks for your time,

Jeremy

During this week, a few games can be. But once the Central League starts, radio goes quiet (except for Monday Night Pa) in reguard to the Pacific League. Even Bunka Housou's "Lions' Nighter" has often only broadcast Central League games in the past.

Nack5 [in Japanese] (79.5 FM) has often played Lions' games in the past. A quick check and all I see is information for 2003 so far.

Thank you for the help! Where can I find the schedule on what stations are broadcasting what games? Maybe I can catch some Pa-League games this week, but only if I know what station to listen to (besides Nack 5.)

Thanx!

To the best of my knowledge, the radio stations generate their schedules from a week to a month ahead of time. The reason I believe this is because Nippon Housou and other radio channels adjust as the season goes on to cover the first place Central League team pretty well, as this will be the most popular.

Most likely, other than Nack 5, the only Pacific League games you're going to get will be "Monday Night Pa" on Nippon Housou. I confirmed that they are covering the Pacific League on the commute home again this year last night.

Otherwise, scan the various channels nightly and see if you can catch one. That's what I do, hoping that one of the channels will have the BayStars. (I don't understand the obsession some of you have with knowing everything before hand. This makes finding the game I want to listen to a pleasant surprise every time.)
